Wonderful balsamic vinegar from Giuseppe Giusti (founded in 1605) that has ripened for at least 10 years and is nice and syrupy. Plum jam and red fruit aroma with a hint of honey and vanilla.
Giuseppe Giusti is the oldest vinegar house in the Modena area and is currently led by the 17th generation of the family. The barrels the balsamic vinegars ripen in are sometimes hundreds of years old.
Oil & Vinegar has selected a series of premium balsamic vinegars for you from the best vinegar houses in the Italian city of Modena. They were all naturally ripened and contain no added sugars, caramel or preservatives. We have labelled them Red, Bronze, Silver and Gold, depending on the production method, their density and how long they ripened for.
