Small version of the world renowned breadsticks from Piedmont. They are nice and crunchy because all the air was kneaded out of the dough.
Originally grissini were primarily eaten as snacks wrapped in wafer thin slices of Parma ham. Nowadays in Italy, they are served with almost everything.
